Kupwara recently came alive with energy and enthusiasm as the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, under the MY Bharat initiative, successfully organized the District-Level Sports Meet 2024-25 at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Ground on March 23-24, 2025. The event saw an overwhelming response from young athletes, both male and female, who participated in various sports, making the atmosphere vibrant and competitive.
The sports meet featured a range of events designed to encourage teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. Competitions included volleyball for men, kho-kho for women, short races for men, badminton for women, skipping rope for women, and shot put for men. The spirit of sportsmanship was evident as participants showcased their dedication and skills, turning the event into a true celebration of athleticism.
