Kupwara: An Army soldier lost his life on Wednesday due to an accidental firearm discharge in the Kalaroos area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to official sources, the soldier sustained severe injuries after his service rifle accidentally went off. Despite being rushed to the hospital for treatment, he was declared dead upon arrival.
Authorities have registered a case, and an investigation into the incident is underway. (JKNS)
