Poonch: Five Pakistani terrorists lost their lives in a landmine explosion while attempting to infiltrate the Line of Control (LoC) in the Battal sector of Poonch, officials confirmed.
According to sources, the group was attempting to cross into Indian territory when one of them stepped on a landmine, triggering a massive explosion. The blast resulted in the immediate death of all five terrorists.
Sources further revealed that the infiltrators were carrying an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), which also detonated during the incident. Security forces are on high alert in the area.
