Kupwara: Police Station Kupwara has registered a Zero FIR following a written complaint from one Tahir Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Rehman Khan, resident of Kupwara.
In his complaint the individual has alleged that he was employed as a security guard at Vertigo Security Services Private Limited Nowgam Srinagar. He has accused the company officials of willful and deliberate cheating, claiming that they embezzled a portion of his rightful earnings and paid him less than the agreed-upon amount.
Furthermore, he has alleged that when he repeatedly insisted on receiving his pending dues he was manhandled by the company officials. He was also threatened with dire consequences and warned that if he approached them again regarding his payment he could face serious harm.
Since the alleged incident falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowgam Srinagar, the Kupwara Police after taking cognizance of the matter has registered a Zero FIR under relevant sections of law. The FIR has been formally forwarded to Police Station Nowgam for further necessary legal action.
