Lolab, March 27: A residential house of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat in Krusan Lolab was partially damaged after it was hit by a lightning bolt. The force caused the partial collapse of the ceiling, resulting in cracks in the walls and damaging the wooden frame of the roof.
Tehsildar Lalpora verified the incident and immediately sent a team to the location to inspect the damage. Authorities went to the damaged house and carried out an inspection to gauge the scope of the loss. Thankfully, there were no casualties. In the meantime, citizens have called for preventive measures of safety to reduce the threat posed by such natural occurrences.
