Srinagar– Dr. Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, the father-in-law of Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq, passed away late last night after a prolonged illness. The news of his demise has left the community in mourning, with many expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.
The Nimaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayers) for Dr. Masoodi will be held at the historic Jama Masjid in Srinagar after the Zuhr prayers. Following the prayers, he will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Khrew, Pampore, as confirmed by a statement released by the Mirwaiz Manzil.
Condolences (Taziyat) will be received at his residence, House No. 207, Sector B, Westend Colony, near Tengpora Bridge, Hyderpora, Srinagar. Family, friends, and well-wishers are expected to gather to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family.
