New Delhi: In a proactive move, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah has directed the formation of an Inter-Ministerial Team to investigate the causes of recent deaths in Rajouri district, Jammu. The team will be led by the Ministry of Home Affairs and will visit the affected village to examine the circumstances surrounding the three tragic incidents in the last six weeks.
The team will include experts from various government departments, including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, and Ministry of Water Resources. Additionally, specialists in animal husbandry, food safety, and forensic science labs will offer their assistance.
Scheduled to begin their visit on January 19, the team will collaborate closely with the local administration to provide immediate relief to the affected families and implement precautionary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
This initiative brings together top-tier experts from renowned national institutions, ensuring a thorough investigation and timely response to the situation.
