Keran | — The three-day Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, organised by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (Kundian Company), concluded on a high note at Government High School Kundian, evoking deep patriotic sentiments among students and locals.
After a screening of the film Shershaah on July 12 and a poster-making competition on July 13, the final day featured a motivational lecture on “How to Join the Indian Army.” The session sparked interest and enthusiasm among the students, many of whom expressed aspirations to serve the nation in uniform.

The event was attended by the Company Commander and Subedar Major of Rashtriya Rifles Kundian, who addressed the gathering with words of encouragement. The school’s Headmaster was present as the Guest of Honour, along with faculty members, parents, and local residents.
In an emotional moment, a community elder, Choudhary Bashir, expressed his appreciation for the Army’s efforts in engaging the youth. Students like Azhar described the event as “life-changing,” reflecting the impact of the initiative.
