Lolab – Dr. Javid Ahmad Lone (KPS) has officially assumed charge as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Lolab, following his transfer from Shopian. He replaces Dr. Raies Ahmad Mir (KPS), who has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) CID Baramulla.
Upon his arrival at Police Station Sogam, Dr. Lone was received by senior officers and staff, who extended a warm welcome. Shortly after taking charge, he held an introductory meeting, outlining his vision for maintaining law and order with professionalism, transparency, and public trust. He emphasized integrity, discipline, and commitment as key principles for effective policing.
Dr. Lone highlighted the importance of strengthening police-public relations, crime prevention, and swift responses to security concerns. He reiterated his commitment to community engagement and ensuring a safe environment for all.
Meanwhile, a farewell ceremony was organized for Dr. Raies Ahmad Mir, recognizing his contributions to law enforcement and public service. Colleagues and dignitaries commended his leadership in crime control, public engagement, and strengthening policing mechanisms in the region.
