Kupwara: In a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering service, patriotism, and valor of Indian Army veterans, Veterans Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm at Trehgam, under the aegis of the Hajipir Brigade.


The event witnessed a significant gathering of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Veer Naris, who were honored for their invaluable contributions to the nation. Recognizing their role as foundational pillars of civil society, the celebration highlighted their sacrifices and dedication in nation-building.
Several Veer Naris were felicitated during the program, underscoring the Indian Army’s commitment to their welfare and dignity. The event also featured interactive sessions with representatives from key agencies, including the Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Defence Pension Disbursement Office, and JAK LI Regiment Records. These sessions served as a platform for addressing grievances and offering guidance on beneficial policies and schemes.

Described as a “One-Stop Resolution Forum,” the event reaffirmed the Indian Army’s steadfast dedication to the care, welfare, and honor of its esteemed veteran fraternity. Veterans Day in Kupwara served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who served the nation with unwavering resolve and selflessness.
