Srinagar: Kashmir University has confirmed that all examinations scheduled for today will proceed as planned, despite disruptions caused by heavy snowfall in the region.
Controller of Examinations, Dr. Majid Zaman, stated that students unable to attend due to severe weather conditions in higher-altitude areas will be given an opportunity to appear for the exams at a later date. Affected students are required to submit an application to avail this option.
Over the past 24 hours, higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir experienced heavy snowfall, while lighter snowfall was recorded in the plains of Kashmir. The university’s decision aims to accommodate students facing travel challenges due to the inclement weather.
