Srinagar, March 05 (GNS): The Court of Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Kralpora convicted two individuals under Section 355 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for public nuisance and sentenced them to community service.
As per officials, the two were found intoxicated at Kralpora Market on February 22, causing inconvenience to the public. Following an investigation, they pleaded guilty, leading to their conviction.
The court ordered them to clean a public place for two days, conduct an awareness session on alcohol’s harmful effects for one day, and plant 20 trees on public land under official supervision. (GNS)
