Jammu: During today’s session of the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly, PDP MLA and representative of Kupwara, Mir Fayaz, strongly criticized members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He advised them to focus on constructive politics rather than engaging in petty political debates.
In his speech, Mir Fayaz urged the BJP to move beyond political point-scoring and support Omar Abdullah’s government in addressing public issues. He further pointed out that while the BJP frequently refers to the Maharaja, they conveniently ignore the fact that it was the Maharaja himself who laid the foundation of Jammu & Kashmir’s Constitution and Article 370. He asserted that if the BJP truly respects the Maharaja, it should also defend this constitutional legacy.
Addressing BJP members in the House, Mir Fayaz emphasized the need to move past outdated politics and concentrate on real issues affecting the people. He remarked that in today’s digital age, the public is well aware of political developments and eagerly awaits solutions to their pressing concerns.
