Lalpora: A preparatory meeting to review arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day 2026 was held today at the Tehsil Office Lalpora under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Dr. Masroor Gayas (KAS). The meeting was attended by officers from various line departments, including Revenue, Police, Education, Health, R&B, PHE, Power Development Department, Municipal/Local Bodies, besides officials from other concerned offices.
During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held to ensure the smooth, orderly, and dignified conduct of Republic Day celebrations. Key issues deliberated upon included security arrangements, maintenance of law and order, sanitation, electricity and drinking water supply, traffic management, medical preparedness, and venue management.
Tehsildar Dr. Masroor Gayas (KAS) stressed the importance of effective inter-departmental coordination and directed all concerned departments to complete their assigned tasks well in advance. He emphasized strict adherence to the prescribed protocol and highlighted the need to ensure public safety, discipline, and active participation of educational institutions.
