Tangdhar: During a routine checking at NC Pass today, security personnel apprehended an individual identified as Bashir Ahmed, son of Sattar Joo, resident of Baghbella, Tangdhar.
Bashir Ahmed was travelling in a vehicle bearing registration number JK 01 T 7627 from Tangdhar towards Srinagar when he was intercepted. Upon inspection, authorities recovered 8–10 grams of hash from his possession.
The accused was immediately handed over to the police. His statement was recorded in the presence of a police representative at NC Pass, and further legal action has been initiated..
