Srinagar: In one of the deadliest attacks in the Kashmir valley in recent times, more than 30 people have been confirmed dead and at least 30 others injured in a brutal terror assault at Pahalgam. As of now according to the data received by the Spotlight’s Investigation Unit,  The victims include tourists from various states including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, and even Nepal. The attack has sparked national outrage and widespread mourning.

Below are the names of deceased and injured civilians which have been confirmed through data analysis in coordination with many department.

List of  25 Deceased (Confirmed So Far):

    1. Sushil Nathiyal – Indore

    2. Syed Adil Hussain Shah – Anantnag, Tehsil Pahalgam

    3. Hemant Suhas Joshi – Tamil Mumbai

    4. Vinay Narwal – Karnal, Haryana

    5. Atul Shrikant Moni – Dombivli West, Mumbai

    6. Neeraj Udhawan – Uttarakhand

    7. Bitan Adhikari – Vishnu, Kolkata

    8. Sudeep Neupane – Batwali Ropandi, Nepal

    9. Shubham Dwivedi – Sham Nagar, Kanpur, U.P.

    10. Prashant Kumar Satpathi – Malashwar, Odisha

    11. Manish Ranjan (Excise Inspector) – Bihar

    12. N. Ramachandra – Kochi, Kerala

    13. Sanjay Lakshman Lal – Thane, Mumbai

    14. Dinesh Agarwal – Chandigarh

    15. Sameer Guhar – Kolkata

    16. Dileep Dasall – Panvel, Mumbai

    17. J. Sachandra Moli – Bangalore

    18. Madhusudan Somisetty – Bangalore

    19. Santosh Jaghda – Pune, Maharashtra

    20. Manju Nath Rao – Karnataka

    21. Kastuba Ganvotay – Pune, Maharashtra

    22. Bharat Bhushan – Sunder Nagar, Bengaluru

    23. Sumit Parmar – Bhavnagar, Gujarat

    24. Yatesh Parmar – Bhavnagar, Gujarat

    25. Tagehalyng (employee of Airforce) – Arunachal Pradesh

    26. Shaileshbhai H. Himmatbhai Kalathla – Surat, Gujarat

Bodies of the deceased are being flown to their respective hometowns, as grieving families begin the heartbreaking process of last rites. According to airport manifests and transport records:

  • Vinay Narwal, Delhi

  • N. Ramachanderan, Kochi via Delhi

  • Dinesh Aggarwal, Raipur via Delhi

  • Prashant Satapati, Bhubaneswar

  • Madhusudan Rao, Chennai

  • Bharat Bhushan, Bangalore

  • Shubham Dewedi, Manish Ranjan, and Sudeep Noepani – awaiting travel clearance

  8. Rainu Pandey – Nepal (Minor injury)

  9. S Balachandro – Maharashtra (Minor injury)

  10. Abjaya M Rao – Karnataka (Minor injury)

  11. Akansha – MP (Stress)

  12. Jennifer – MP (Stable)

  13. Lakshita Das – Raipur (Minor injury)

  14. Jaya Mishra – Hyderabad (Panic injury)

  15. Shabari Guha – Kolkata (Twist in ankle)

  16. Harsha Jain – Maharashtra (Minor injury)

  17. Nikita Jain – Maharashtra (Minor injury)
