In a moment of immense pride for the Karnah region,Mohd Ismail Khan has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Department of Posts, Government of India, for his exceptional performance in Business Acquisition related to Post Office Savings Bank (POSB), Postal Life Insurance (PLI/RPLI), and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) products.
The award was presented under the authority of Shri Ab Hamid Kumar, Superintendent of Post Offices, Baramulla Postal Division, on 24th June 2025, in recognition of Khan’s consistent dedication and adherence to the directives of the Department of Posts. His efforts have significantly contributed to financial inclusion and public outreach in remote areas, especially in the border region of Karnah.
