Srinagar: With heavy snowfall affecting various parts of Kashmir, including Karnah, Keran, Machil, and main Srinagar, students appearing for exams at the University of Kashmir tomorrow are anxious about possible postponements.
Many students approached The Spotlight, urging authorities to address the issue, as snowfall has led to the closure of key roads, making travel extremely difficult. Following student concerns, The Spotlight contacted Prof. Majid, Controller of Examinations at the University of Kashmir.
Speaking on the matter, Prof. Majid stated, “At this time, we have not taken any decision regarding postponement. However, early in the morning, based on weather conditions, we will publish an official notice. If the snowfall continues, we may postpone the exams.”
As snowfall has already disrupted movement in several areas, students are advised to stay updated by checking the university’s official website and notifications early in the morning for any announcements regarding their exams.
