Kupwara, February– The sudden and untimely demise of Tanveer Ahmad Khan, who served as a Flock Supervisor in the Sheep Husbandry Department, Kupwara, has left the community in deep mourning. His passing has sent shockwaves across the region, with an outpouring of grief and condolences from colleagues, friends, and officials.
A large number of people gathered to pay their last respects during his final rites, reflecting the profound impact he had on those around him. Tanveer Ahmad Khan was widely respected for his dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to his work in the Sheep Husbandry Department.
Ali Mohammad Kumar, a senior trade leader and Assistant Livestock Officer in the Sheep Husbandry Department, expressed his sorrow, stating, “I am at a loss for words to express the depth of our grief over the heartbreaking news of Tanveer Sahab’s passing. He was one of the most loyal and dedicated employees in our department. Death is the one reality beyond human control, and this loss feels especially heavy. Tanveer Sahab had already endured immense tragedy with the untimely death of his son in a tragic accident. On behalf of the department, we extend our deepest condolences to his family and assure them that we will stand by them during this difficult time. His interactions with colleagues reflected his profound character—always joyful, cheerful, and kind. His absence has left us devastated. May Allah grant peace to his departed soul.”
Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, former Assistant Livestock Officer and Ex-District President of the All J&K Sheep & Wool Workers Association (AJKSWWA), Kupwara, also shared his grief. “This is devastating news, and we are still struggling to come to terms with what has happened. Tanveer Ahmad Khan was a true gentleman who served as a Flock Supervisor in the Sheep Husbandry Department, Kupwara. He leaves behind a legacy of honesty, integrity, and dedication. We will ensure that his family remains a top priority for the department, and we trust that the leadership will provide all necessary support to them during this tragic time.”
