Karnah – In a vibrant display of sportsmanship and teamwork, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in collaboration with MY Bharat Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, successfully organized the Cluster Level Sports Meet at AGS Teethwal in the Teethwal block of Karnah tehsil. The event, held under the supervision of Principal AGS Teethwal, Shri Yaseer Malik, and conducted by Shri Majid Malik, a teacher at the school, brought together young athletes from across the region, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and embrace the spirit of healthy competition.
The meet featured an exciting lineup of competitions that fostered camaraderie and excellence among the participants. Enthusiastic athletes engaged in group events such as men’s volleyball and women’s kho-kho, while individual competitions included the 100-meter short race for men, badminton for women, shot put for men, and skipping rope for women. The atmosphere was charged with energy and determination as participants put forth their best performances, cheered on by an encouraging audience.
Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including renowned journalist Danish Naseer and I/C PP Teethwal, who praised the initiative for its role in youth empowerment. Addressing the participants, they emphasized the significance of sports in shaping personal growth and social development. They urged young people to actively engage in physical activities, highlighting the transformative impact of sports in fostering discipline, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
The local community expressed overwhelming support for the event, recognizing it as a significant step in guiding the youth towards constructive and meaningful engagements.
