Kupwara– The Border Area Youth Exchange Program, organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Kupwara under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, concluded today at the Army Goodwill School, Wayne. The six-day event (February 19-23) aimed to foster connections between youth from non-border areas and strengthen ties with the Indian Army.

The closing ceremony featured the Commanding Officer of the 160 Territorial Army as the chief guest, who emphasized Kashmir’s legacy of peace and urged participants to promote harmony and Kashmiri culture nationwide.

The program provided a platform for youth to engage with local communities, experience Kashmiri traditions, and witness the Army’s role in maintaining regional stability. Appreciation certificates and traditional Kashmiri gifts were presented to participants as a token of gratitude.

The event was coordinated by NYKS officials, with support from the Indian Army and key organizers, ensuring its successful execution. Participants expressed appreciation for the enriching experience, reinforcing national unity and cultural understanding.
